Guys, here at work, my boss wants to password protect programs such as Internet Explorer, outlook, and other programs that pretty much access the net, the computer is runnign Winxp so your help will be appreciated!
 
outlook is somewhat already password protected. For IE and other programs I wouldn't know and would like an answer to this as well
 
i don't think you can password protech IE. I mean, my computer is bascially IE as you can access the internet through it. If you want protection, why don't you just password protect the connection itself?
 
can't you do it with user profiles, just give access to the admin and that is all, all others will be prompted with a password that tells them they do not have permission and to enter the admin and pass
