I realize my question may be beyond the scope of this forum so I'll ask it in these two parts:
1) Does anyone know of a popular audiophile forum where I might ask the question below?

2) I just got from my neighbor an old set of awesome speakers

that he was throwing out because the foam surrounding the 4 cones of the woofers and midrange has withered away. I know that I can spend $50+ here

to buy kits to replace the foam but the sound is pretty good already so the project is not worth near that much. I am hoping to get some do-it-yourself advice as to how I might otherwise repair the foam edges other than buying these expensive kits. Thanks.
