Hi I would like to know if there is any passive PSU that could supply motherboard with amd780G chipset, one notebook disk, one DVD/RW drive, AMD X2 - 45W?

The passive PSU choices out there are pretty slim. I use a Fortron Zen 400 for my Q6600 build and it works great. It barely even gets warm.

I think just about any passive PSU should be able to handle a setup like the one you listed. Even a picopsu should be able to handle that. Since it's obvious you're going for silence/low power, it might be a good idea to try and undervolt. You might be able to use a Scythe Ninja passively on that processor. Or at the very least in conjunction with a low RPM 120mm fan.

I gotta say the HB380W from seasonic is just about passive. I've delt with my fair share of power supplies and if I was looking for a perticularly quiet PSU thats what I would use --and now that I think about it I have on a couple of occasions.
