Passive Cooling on P4C

Say i wanted passive cooling for a P4C that was going into a HTPC for the sake of silence. I would go with an aluminum case, super quiet powersupply, and at the very most a single 120mm case fan. So is it possible to use, say a SLK947 on a 2.8 underclocked and undervolted to like 2.2ghz and 1.4 volts might run cool enough to actualy work?

i would put a fan on it and then use a program like SpeedFan to turn the fan speed down until you cant hear it

or passive its all good

get the zalman flower (i think thats the name of it), its basically passive and will keep something underclocked like that really cool.

you would put an SP94 on it and leave it at 2.8, i know a guy who did this, and he has a new super lanboy(120 intake and 120 ex.)

his 2.8C stayed at 45idle and 55 load. so there ya go, it wasnt undervolted either.

if any HS could do it w/o a fan it would be the SP94. I forgot about that one, thanks. I just pitty your friend for having to look at that super lanboy, it strait-up hurts my eyes. ;)
