Everything seems to be quality part, IMO I would only change the monitor to a Viewsonic or a NEC or something like that.

I have to ask, since people do this way too often, have you already ordered any of this? I don't care for when people ask for opinions and advice when they've already ordered stuff. Wasted effort to think. :)

Great lookin' system there. That's really all you need to make a good system, and that thing would run new games soo well. Can i ask, going dual channel? Sorry if i missed it. Also, what about case fans to get good airflow in the case (again, sorry if i missed them...)
Good luck with that,
4keatimj

I agree, get the Antec for the "cleaner" power. You don't need a lot of power for that system, your components won't likely consume even 200 watts, but you don't want unreliable power being fed to them either.

3 things:

1. Spend the extra little bit of cash and get a pc-60 instead of a -7, the mobo tray beats all hands down

2. Get a logitech elite kb instead

3. Get a better logitech wireless mouse, like an mx- line or the cordless mouseman

or 2 & 3 get the wireless mx duo

Oh wow, I glossed over the PSU recommendation
If you're trying to stay in that price range, a Fortron would be right up your ally.

No, i Havent bought the computer yet, for one whats a PSU, and the things im most worried about are, are all these parts compatible, do they work good together, and will that ram be good enough, likewise with the processor? thanks for your input

if you'll be downloading a lot of movies, you might want to go for a 120 gigger. the price difference isnt too much, and movies are anout 600 mb to 4 gigs these days. usually about 1 gig or 1.5 gigs.

Did you forget to get a fan for the hsf?

The 947u is good, but not good enough for passive cooling ;)

What kind of movies are we talking about here? ;)

Millow as your self appointed counsel
Id advise you not to answer that, because while you might be in Canada
the server for this forum is not :p

a quick review of the rules might be in order ;)

the term "illegal" is to be interpreted as illegal in the state of Texas :p

im talking about whatever type of movies he's planning on downloading, thats all

Some of you may ask why this is. It's simply because in texas, they apply the death penalty to more crimes than any other state. :D
