Partitioning

Okay, so I've been have numerous problems with my copy of Windows lately so I've decided to format, but I'm also going to repartition.
I have two 150 gigabyte hard drives and I was planning on:
1x 30g Partition for Windows and it's components.
1x 3g Partition for the Pagefile
1x 267g Partition consisting of media and games

I was wondering if you experts here could provide a better setup, as I will be doing primarily gaming but I also do alot of .rar'ing and such as well as Photoshop work. I was wondering if this setup would be better than the current RAID 0 system I'm moving away from?

I assume you meant 1x 267GB partition for media and games, since you have 300GB.

I'm not a big partitioning expert, although I'm planning on repartitioning my hard drive soon for a multi-boot system, but wouldn't you have to put your games on the same partition as windows? If you need to reformat windows, you'd have to reinstall your games anyway, right? Media files should be okay, but aren't most game files linked to the registry?

Yeah, my bad it's been edited. However I've heard of several people using a different partition for games.
