Ok, I'm trying to repartition my 80gb hd (all one NTFS partition right now) so I can install linux again. Problem is, my copy of Partition Magic locks up at 38% done everytime. Is there any freeware partitioning software that I can use to non destructively parition? Luckily, chkdsk has been able to fix all the errors Partition Magic has caused so far, but I'd like to get this done.
 
no one knows of anythign that will work? i can't believe that........
