Hello, I hope you can help me.

Partition Magic f-ed me. I was attempting to merge two partitions, E and F. The contents of F were to go into a folder of E. Both parts were NTFS, on XP pro SP2. Partition Magic went through it's business, it took and hour or so to move the data. Right about the end of the process it errored out with a 1563 error (undocumented anywhere), and rendered F gone. E was intact, but it lost it's drive letter.

I've run a couple of non-destructive data rescue programs- they can see the files, and they're the right length, but corrupted.

Symantec's help is slow. Anyone have any ideas?
