That was scary - was running some tests on the My Book Studio Edition II from WD... then I disconnected it, and started playing WoW. Suddenly game froze and couldn't do anything but hard reboot.
When machine went back on line, my 2nd partition on my HDD - 2TB Caviar Black SATA 3 (on Sata 2 port) went out. Windows couldn't read it, it was like it was not formatted - only drive letter showed in my computer folder.
Done another reboot... and the partition came back on line
Now, is this the fault of first playing with external disk array? Or it's the HDD that's going bad, and should be ready for death of month old disk?
