Partition allignment after-the-fact?

I just upgraded a computer to a 240gb Corsair Neutron Series SSD. I did it by using Acronis True Image and cloning the partition.

The computer seems pretty slow since then, with a bunch of pausing and stuttering. I'm assuming there are partition alignment issues due to the partition copy.

What is my best bet as far as being able to fix this without doing something like a full re-install?

Before you do anything, do the first check and see if your drive is aligned properly.

I don't have physical access to the computer at the moment, but other owner ran Paragon Alignment Tool 3.0 and it apparently says the partition is aligned correctly. Assuming the program is correct, is there anything else that would cause this sort of behavior after doing a partition copy from a hard drive to an SSD?

Have you run any tests on the drive to see if it is performing correctly? Run AS-SSD or Crystal DiskMArk and see what the results are. AS_SSD will also tell you if the alignment is correct. What driver are you using? What CPU/motherboard, and what controller on the MB is the SSD hooked to?
