Partioning question

Can you partition a hard drive already loaded with windows only having one partition? I would like to do this to my SATA drive if possible.
 
sure ya can get the program called PartitionMagic
or you can do it the old fashion way with fdisk which is free :)

yeah if the partition is 100% commited to one drive (for example the whole drive is your C:\ drive) then Fdisk would have to destroy the partition, then you would have to format the drive then run Fdisk again to create multiple partitions

partition magic or similar program would be your best bet
