Parted Magic hardware error

Im in the process of secure erasing my Samsung 830. I had loaded Parted Magic onto a bootable USB and launched the parted magic software. When I try to launch the program it gives me lines of syntax, then at the end displays this, then my PC boots back into Windows 7.

No other drives are connected to my computer besides my SSD. What could be causing this?
 
Well I reset my bios back to stock speed and was able to boot into parted magic. I have ran a memtest recently and passed.
 
I wonder if the drive in question just does not like the software, I would try at stock clocks for the cpu/ram/gpu if you can at least for now if it is hardware related then at least you know generally it wont be the cpu/ram/gpu causing it, maybe send a support to part magic devs see what answer they give?
 
Im thinking it could be the particular software version. I'm stable overclocked with intel burn test and prime95. I havent had any memory related problems that would indicate a hardware issue.
 
might be an issue with the SSD in question, and hardware/software issues do present themselves in different ways, sometimes it is quite difficult to tell exactly where the issue is, well unless I suppose you are an OS coder that you can do a true diagnostic and say "aha, here is the problem" :)

Like stated, I would send a support to the makers of the program let them know your system specs, the clock settings you did use/have etc, maybe they will tell you a simply thing such as "its a known bug with Samsung 840 class drives, try this beta driver it should work fine this way" or maybe through your experiences they may discover a bug and have a fix cause you brought it to their attention, you never know.
 
This error is either a real hardware problem or the linux kernel that Parted Magic is using has some type of serious linux bug related to your hardware. I am almost 100% sure this error has nothing to do with the SSD. There is no indication in that the kernel even looked at storage devices yet. I really think it is the former.

Also I believe bank 5 tells me that the CPU thinks the dimm in the 6th slot is bad. mce errors come directly from the CPU. My guess is the microcode that linux is pushing to your CPU somehow is somehow causing a stability problem with the IMC at your overclocked speed.

CPUs have a rated speed because they are (may be) unstable above that speed.

Your CPU is unstable at the speed you have overclocked it to. You now have a test that uncovers the instability.
