Does it exist? And are parts made by one manufacturer more likely to work well together?

I was thinking that when building my new computer this might be a large factor. Do you think that if I went with a Chaintech MB/SC/VC combo or a MSI or ASUS MB/VC combo I would get better performance? Do you have any suggestions of parts that work especially well together? [either by the same manufacturer or otherwise]

Parts are all standardized now. Generally, if it fits in the hole then it will work. No one company makes everything needed for a computer, so that's pretty much impossible anyway. I think a bigger factor is driver quality. Designing and manufacturing hardware can cost millions of dollars, but it often seems like drivers are somewhat of an afterthough. Though even that won't likely affect anything unless there is something majorly wrong with the drivers. BTW, I hear we can get some synergy if we merge with another company. :D
