Just got the new macbook pro 13inch i5, and it is an awesome little beast of a computer :D
I need solidworks so i installed 64bit win7 in a bootcamp partition, and wanted to be able to virtualize it from the partition.
So what do you guys use parallels or vmware? or is it possible with virtual-box? Free is always nice ^^
Thanks in advance.

I'm very happy with VMware. I haven't used Parallels in a while so I can't comment on that.

VMware is somewhat more technologically modern. Parallels offers somewhat better integration with OS X. Take your pick.

VMware unity isn't too bad. Have you used it recently?

what's wrong with just trying the free VirtualBox? If it doesn't work uninstall it..

I need to run the virtual machine form a boot camp partition off the hd, and i am pretty sure Virtualbox doesn't support doing that.
How is VMware more technologically monden compared to parallels?
