I want a USB Nintendo and Super Nintendo controller...

I hear that it is very difficult to make (Need an IC and diodes)... but the Controller -> Parallel port is quite easy.

I am wondering if you can do the Controller -> Parallel, then Parallel -> USB?

Do you think it would work?

I haven't seen anyone try it on the Emulation forums around the net.

That should work. The usb->parallel convertor will give you a regular parallel port to which you can hook up whatever you want.

Does it have to be a nintendo controler? I have seen usb to Play Station Controlers. There only about $15

Will windows xp automaticaly recognize it? Or are their drivers? That would be awsome.

There are awesome drivers for XBOX controllers out there. The touch-sensitivity even works! Also, for the mod, all you really have to do is cut off the end of the controller and replace it with a USB end.
