Well unless someone is willing to ship it to me I am out of luck for Microcenter, only one in my state is in Southern California and I am in Northern California.
if you want to pay Canadian prices I'd ship to you, also +13% tax
NVM, sold out here now too
I doubt Newegg has many large warehouses of their own and instead pulls their stock from Ingram Micro and the other big distributors, so their stock notifications are probably pulled from the aggregated warehouse notifications from their suppliers not from their own stores. So as their suppliers stock changes so do their notifiers, at this stage it means pretty little. I am just happy that my CDW rep was able to process an order for me even if the ETA for actual delivery could be a month from now.According to nowinstock tracker for AMD Ryzen, the 3900X has been in stock at Newegg several times since launch, and always sold out within minutes.

Maybe this isn't a paper launch, but it's a low availability launch. I think AMD really dropped the ball here. We kept hearing about delays with the chipset which pushed back the launch date. They said there was nothing wrong with yields. They should have had plenty of time to get production completed before launch. Either they were full of crap about yields or the whole distribution system is garbage. How many individuals actually build computers anyway?

Was posting to say it was in stock at New Egg but when I double checked it was already gone in like 5 minutes. Sniping is probably the only way you're going to get one at this rate. I got lucky and was quick on the draw.
I don't know if a list that doesn't even have what's arguably the most popular SKU (3700x) listed, is good evidence against a paper launch claim.
I read on Reddit that someone ordered his and received it.Did anyone else order from AMD.com? I ordered the morning of and it's still being processed. Go figure, the first item ordered will be the last to arrive.

I am guessing that their On-line has NEVER been stressed? Not a dig but I can't think of another modern time that would warrant this activity. Anyone? My guess is they're swamped. This is the most hyped CPU launch in a looooooooooong time for AMD.
They're on Amazon now, debating a 3700x...
Gonnahave to see if there is updated drivers for it on the MSI website
Go get Intel's latest drivers for the WiFi and try again, if you need it. In general I wouldn't mess with drivers from MSIs site unless they're the only available ones or if the opposite occurs and the latest ones for whichever component are unstable.
New build or upgrade and from what?
Upgrade my r7 1700 sffpc.
It is a paper launch. I still couldn't get one in the EU, I've been looking for a listing since before launch. First listings appeared a week later, I ordered then, still nothing. They promised 23nd, then I got a message on 25th, that maybe they get some by 31st.
I think you don't understand that I wanted to order one since before the launch, but they didn't even take reservations. And I ordered one as soon as the listing appeared at a reputable retailer. Currently the 3900x only exists as hearsay in the EU. Some say they knew someone who saw someone who got one, but I've seen no first hand account of someone actually taking delivery in my region.I don't think you understand the demand.
I have been to my local Microcenter 2x since the release. Their reservation counter was stacked with Ryzen's both times. They keep selling out of the 3700 and 3800, and have been sold out of the 3900 since a week after the launch.
I almost reserved a 3900x a few days after launch, and decided to wait until I selected a mobo.........bad idea.
