Panel difference

[Fading Phoenix]

I've been looking at monitors because I'm thinking of trying to replace mine. I've been reading threads on here, and already got discouraged from getting the viewsonic 22" vx model that they have because of the panel that it uses. I don't know anything about these though, what is the difference between the different types of panels used in LCD monitors?

This is a great research link if you thinking of buying a new monitor.

That anandtech article is better than what I posted.

I didn't have time to read those other sites, but here's another one if you want:

It's the one I used when I was researching LCDs.

Good luck!

Cool. These should all be a lot of help. Once I get some more time I'm gonna have to sit back and start looking some more into this stuff. Thanks a lot guys.
