Hi,

I’m getting my panel replaced (in warranty) by a local technician. My model TV has a panel lottery where there are two different types: A-MVA and S-IPS. I have the A-MVA one, but is it possible to replace it with the S-IPS panel? Basically I’m asking is the base electrical components (like the controller board) the same in two TV’s of the same model but different panels? Are all the panels within the lottery compatible, or is each TV of the same model a little different depending on the panel it has?

Thanks!

Here's an easy way to check - find out how many motherboard replacement models there are available - if there is only 1 - then you have your answer.

How can I look that up? Really don't know TV parts well.
