I recently bought a keyboard that has rubber keys.. I want to paint the keys white. Someone was telling me you shouldn't spray paint rubber?

Something about the paint will break it down...

But someone else told me you could use Automotive spraypaint that is meant for vinyl?

Anyone have tips?

Paint, even latex based will just come off. The best shot you have is with a vinyl dye spray.

Fail.

Maybe I'll just end up sanding the keys off, and painting everything else white? who knows.
