Hi!

I have an IBM Model M and it's in white. My whole setup is black and I don't want any other keyboard so I'm thinking of painting it black.

What kind of paint should I use? I would like it to be glossy, not because of the looks, but because I don't like the matte feel on a keyboard.

Would it be better to get a professional painter to do it? I'm a complete n00b who has never done this before.

No lol. I don't think I can paint the letters and do a good job lol.

I'll take out the keys and disassemble the casing.

How much is vinyl dye?
 
i used spray paint on the keyboard i painted.
it turned out ok, but i broke about 10 keys, but only 3 fall off when i flip it upside down.
