I just finished painting my case (about a week and a half process).. i still haven't put the system back together cause i want to let the paint and clear coat harden a bit more for a night or two.. Anyway has anyone ever experienced higher system temps after painting a case?

Thanks

i doubt it... the case isnt designed to be a lil heatsink of some sort... i doubt theres any kind of cooling involved with the case materials, etc

i see i see.. how about painting a laptop??? i heard from someone that knows someone that knows someone that painted a laptop case, and apparently it got too hot and broke down...

I work as a part time job in a paintshop. I am sell paint so I know a lot about paint. The only thinks that I can assure you it's it depend of what type of paint your friends have use to paint his Laptop. Maybe some really small drop of paint goes through the fan and when the laptops begin to run, it's generated more heat because the paint was begging to heat or even burn, so the heat spread were less efficency.
