Painting an Eee PC

I don't see why not, but I'd go for car paint with a clear coat personally though... It will probably hold up better and look nicer in the long run.

either way, just make sure you prep it properly :)

The reason I want to use latex paint is because I am currently painting the walls in my room and will have a lot left over and it would be cool to have the laptop match my walls too.

Any tips for prepping the laptop as well as what to use for a seal?

Actually if your not going with car paint try acrylic, it can be found for $2 a bottle in any color at walmart. Steps below to use acrylic!

1- Sand surface with 180 grit
2- Sand surface with 220 grit
3- Apply a coat of Gesso (also found at walmart)
4- Paint whatever your heart desires
5- Clear coat over your creation, clear comes in matte or gloss (also found at walmart)

I hope this gives you another option, I custom paint Xbo 360's with this system. Good Luck!
