Any special tricks to make painting aluminium easier (e.g. etched primer), as I have heard that it can be annoying to paint.
 
All I did was just spray on primer, sand a little and a second coat of primer. It looks beatuifull, and I didnt have any problems with it.
 
I used some kind of green self etching primer from the auto parts store. It worked okay except that it was still fairly easy to scratch off. I painted in interior of my Lian-Li and it looked sweet at hell until the first time I backed out the screws on a drive and noticed the screw heads had ripped into the paint.

The one thing I'll say if you decide to use self-etching primer is: DO IT OUTSIDE (and away from any open windows).

I'm not one of those people who'll tell you about how dangerous it is to spray paint indoors, and I'm not one to complain about how bad things smell but HOLY CRAP that stuff has to be some of the worst shit in the world. Even after I painted a part it still smelled like shit for hours after. If spray paint fumes are carcinogenic that primer has to be cancer-in-a-can.
