Im planning on painting my blue x-superalien case black. I want it so it has the same smoooth and soft finish as it had when i ifrst bought it. How can i do this? thanks im a newbie

ANY and all advice on painting cases is welcome as i do not know anything about painting a case, like what paint to use etc.
 
21 aint a lot, probally ove 1/2 of them were you. just take your time on hte project.
 
nah half werent me as i was just refreshing the page isntead of going in... but i defiantely will take my time i just wanted to know info, kinda dissapointed no ones willing to help
 
You can get glossy finish in spray-can it's called "clear coat". But that would make your case as shiny and reflective as a car. What you want it just a paint that will make it flat, I.E. flat black. Also try to avoid acryllic, as it will lose it's luster in a day, and rub off quite soon. Unless you want to put finish on it...

I don't really know anythign about vinyl dyes. I'll be happy if someone told me how vinyl dyes are different from acryllic counterparts.
 
I hate to say it, but Google is your friend. I think the search function here is still not working.
 
After you paint like 3 or 4 coats, forget about clear coat. I saw this stuff at Home Depot, it is like a liquid acrylic goo when it dries it becomes amost bullet proof and it adds the coolest shine/shell. Plus it dries even.
