This game is suppose to run great in landscape mode, but no luck in getting it to work in portrait. It just flashes back and then goes to desktop. I have been looking for the ini file that should be inside the BIN folder but nothing there yet. Ne1 been able to get it to work in portrait mode?

Is this the stand alone game or did you buy it off of steam?

Check under C:program files/Game Directory/bin the file should be called config.ini

If on windows 7 it may be under: Your folder on desktop/my documents/game directory/bin

Good luck

Painkiller - overdose have the .ini file in the appdata folder I think (C:\Users\martinje\AppData). Try there. :)

Its a hidden folder, so you have to turn on the "show hidden folders" if you don't go there directly.

yeah tried there also no luck. I installed the game on the D Drive I wonder if that make it go funcky.

kind of OT but when I got to the haunted house level the whole game crashed. I cant load the game anymore unless i want to play previous levels :( Were talking about painkiller resurrection correct? :)

Well its Painkiller Black which has both original and resurection in 1 dvd.

This thread has me wanting to play Painkiller again... Man what's it been like 5 years since the original came out? I never played any of the expansion packs but played the hell out of the original game.
