Pagefile and whatever, please help

Well I finally installed my new raptor x. I did a fresh install of winxp pro on it and made my old 7200 80gb IDE drive extra storage after formating it.

I dont know much but I've read that setting the pagefile on another drive from your OS will increase performence. Should I do so, does it make much of a difference and what settings should I do?

Current settings are on C: AKA raptor page file size is 1536 - 3072 custom size.

I have one gig of ram, should I just change it to my other drive with the same size or something else or would I be better off leaving it on the faster drive since my old drive is just ata 100 old IDE?

If you look to the left, it says Serial ATA, and then at the end of the line it says 150GB
