page loads, then flashes white?

is anyone else having this problem? Im using firefox (never happened before the other day) and it doesnt happen when im @ work using IE.

Page will load, then it will flash white (kinda like a flash bang to my poor eyes) then it will be loaded...

Is it the forum? My Computer? Firefox? I dont have IE installed to tell.
 
same thing to me, its the background color too.


on opera,
the flash is quick,
it has always happened.

and it probably happens on most sites, but it is more noticable due to the background being black here.
 
i think i have linked the source of the problem to a flash video downloader extension i had installed, i took it off and it has stopped.

Yeah, it seems like once I disabled the ook video downloader, the screen no longer flashes white on page load.
