I have a 74G Raptor with OS/apps/games on it and a 160G WD for media storage. Where do I want the page file to go? I thought that generally it would want to go on the secondary drive, but the Raptor is faster, so that makes it less clear to me.

have a pagefile on both. Upon a pagefile write, windows is likely to write on the idle drive.If you are loading a program that requries you to page, it is likely that most of the program's interaction are going to be with the same disk, thereby possibly improving read speed when the paged data can be reloaded.

If your secondary drive is just for 'data storage' you'd want to put the PF there, since most program loading would be done from the raptor. It is advantageous to utilize the additional BW and reducing of head movement by using the two spindles independently.

After reading all this: there is no clear answer, it largely depend on how your system is set up. The easiest and 'quick fix' way would be to put a pagefile on both.

You want it to go straight to the ram for the best performance ;) But I only recommend if you have 1.5GB or more of RAM.
