Sorry in advance if I posted on the wrong forum, but I asked in the feedback forum & gotten no response.

Anyhoo, I'm packing up computers for moving. I'm also scavenging parts from older computers like HDDs, newer sticks, dvd drives, etc so I can use on another system.

Problem is, I didn't keep the packaging for those parts and I'm hoping you guys can tell me how to package them safely.

Box --> Old newspapers --> Remove clips --> Wrap --> Put in box
Unless you want to go and buy ESD bags etc

Ah ty. I thought that because they are computer parts, they would get damaged if packed the regular way.
