Hi all,

Im new here so sorry if my post is out of place. I also have looked around and cant seem to find what im looking for.

Basically i have an i7 2600k and at time of writing this post im on a P8P67-Pro. Until tonight i have not taken up the offer of getting the B3 revision board so rang the guys i got my gear from and they will still replace it THANK GOD :D

I asked the guy on the phone about newer boards and he suggested that the P8Z68-V was a better buy and i would even get £8 back. I have to order a new board @ £130 and the one im sending back gets me a refund of £138 :D

Baring in mind i have only owned PC's for the past 6 years and had never messed with overclocking until Feb this year when i got my new gear i was struggling to find a place to get info from. Then i found you lot :D

This post to be exact http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1578110 gave me hours of overclocking fun and your site gave me lots of education, and i actually managed to get my CPU to 4.8 ghz @ 1.368v and 63c which from what i read is not bad.

So tomorrow night when i get in from work there will be a brand spanking new P8Z68-V board waiting for me and i want to get to grips with it all over again.

I know the BIOS is exactly the same so getting back to the speed i want should be ok im hoping, but i was wondering if there is a guide similar to the one i mention above anywhere you guys might be able to link me too ?

Im a gamer and running this set up on stock settings for all my games is perfect except Call of Duty Black ops where using my 4.8 OC gets my game running perfectly with a perfect FPS ect.

My exact specs as of tomorrow will be as follows:

P8Z68-V Mobo
i7 2600k
Prolimatech Megahalems Intel CPU Heatsink
Corsair GS700 700w PSU
Corsair XMS 1600mhz 4gb
MSI NGTX560 ti 1gb
Corsair F60 SSD

If anyone has time to link me to a suitable guide if there is one or would mind showing me the best settings that would be awesome.

Thanks in advance for any help and also thanks to everyone who contributes on this site :D Great reading :D
