P8p67 pro and ssd

So i finished build plugged everything and turned on pc.
Doesn't detect ssd? np let me switch to ide but no still no detection
Is there something i'm missing here? or my ssd suddenly dead aftet pulling from another rig... Help is appreciated

Spec is
2500k
5870 ati
8gig of corsair venge
Torqx 250g
corsair 620hx
 
i've tried all of it
i tried intel ssd instead of torqx and it detects fine
maybe it has to do with controller type?

I know it took me a bit to figure out how to find and set boot order and priority in the new EFI bios...maybe that's where your issue is?

If it isn't showing period maybe the drive did die. Do you have your old setup, or a different one to test and make sure it still works?
 
i don't understand torqx was in perfect working order 30min before i put it in new system
now it doesn't even show up on another rig
drive might really be dead afterall except i don't know how that's possible
