P67 sever storage setup

What are your needs for storage? With 3 1TB drives, your options are RAID1, RAID0, RAID5, 3-way mirror or JBOD.
 
What it really comes down to is raid 5 or storage spaces. I was going to do raid 5 until I started reading about 5-10mb writes. Would storage spaces be a better option than raid 5 on the intel controller?
 
The read and write speeds depend on what hardware you have so not everyone will get low speeds like 5-10 I have used raid 5/6 with 70-120 write speeds with a lsi 8888elp
