p67 raid trim?

does anyone have trim working on a p67/z68 mb? if so, what orom version, rst version and os are you running?

Currently there is only Intel support for 7 series and X79 although it has been shown that it is also possible for 5 and 6 series as well.

it only work of z77 without doing some sort of modding. there is now x79 support.

i have already made the bios with orom 11.6.0.1702. i have made the edits to the orom so it should work.

ok, raid is running. win8 64, 11.6.0.1702 orom (modded), rst 11.6.0.1030

im going to load it up now and see what happens.

well i filled 80% of the drives and deleted everything. speeds look like this (also changed the stripe size to 128k)

writes are slower, so i will let the pc sit and see if trim puts it back together.

Thanks for your work tricky. I've got some ASUS P8P67 systems that need this fix.
Going IB/Z77 would be a real big waste of money for me just to get some TRIM.

Indeed - I can't justify a new motherboard at this point with my i7-2600K still being more than enough proc for my needs. Maybe once Haswell/Broadwell are out, but TRIM alone is not worth the cost of a new mobo.

Exactly - my 2600K OC is on par if not superior to IB, and PCIe 3 is a wash.

after some installs and unistalls of software. trim seems to be working.

i still dont know why the writes are so low. i think it is because it is test incompressible data?

why rst 11.2 and not 11.6?

11.2 is said to be a bit faster, an in a few benches of my own it is a wee bit faster, for me.
