Whats teh difference between P5Q-E and P5Q Deluxe? it worth the extra for the deluxe?

I went with the E and it's one of the better boards I've had. I can't remember the differences, so all I could do is compare on New Egg...

The E only has 8 phase and Deluxe has 12. The NB cooler on the Deluxe also extends to the SB. Other then those differences, they are the same board, same layout.

bios is the same too but I could be wrong.

IMO, its not worth the extra money whether your getting a quad or a dual.

aiya is right. The layout of the 2 mobos is the exact same, except for the 8 (E) vs 16 (Deluxe) phase power and the NB to SB heat pipe connection on the deluxe.

Different bios, Im not sure exactly how though.

I have the P5Q Deluxe and am very happy with it. I really wanted some features the Deluxe and E models had over the Pro, such as the eSata and the x4 PCIe slot, and when it was time to buy, zipzoomfly had a deal on the Deluxe bundled with a 4850e GPU, which was in my plan anyway.

I found the Deluxe very easy to OC my Q9550 C1 to 3.6+. It has had no problem running 8gb ram, which is a must for me because of all the VMs I run.

I'd say the Deluxe is maybe worth $20 more than the E. Theoretically I would expect the Deluxe to OC a tiny bit better, but maybe .1 better, not something like .4 better.

I've got a P5Q-E in my second box. Runs my E8600 @ 4.4GHz like a champ. Great, solid, simple board. Great layout too.

I didn't want to start a separate thread and I know there's a whole mega-multi page thread covering the the P5Q series. But in a word or two, how'd Y'all say the P5Q-PRO compares to these?

I got the P5Q, whats the difference between the 3?
Compared to these two, the P5Q has a completely different layout and lacks many of the features that the higher-end boards have. It also has inferior cooling.
