P5Q-e help, two graphic cards

I've flashed my GPU with the wrong Bios, so now it FUBAR, need to place other card in and primary, and the 4870 as secondary to flash again, but cant get it running. System will post and and get to logon screen, then monitor will switch off.
How can I get his to work, any ideas? I know this is a GPU isseu, but dont know if it is also a P5Q setting that I should be looking at?
 
try logging into windows w/o the fubared card, install your new card and make sure its your default video source, THEN power down install the Fubared card and try it. thats the only way i can think of
 
Why do you need to boot into your OS to flash the BIOS? See if you can boot off your USB stick or floppy and flash the 2nd card from DOS.
