I just bought home a computer, and thought that it was cpu lock free. my motherboard is p5pe-vm and i have a pentium d 805 processor. i just updated my bios version, before overclocking my cpu.
i went to cpu configurations in the bios but in there, i couldnt alter the speed of my cpu. do i need to press anything first before enabling the overclocking capability of my motherboard? or someone could have locked the overclocking features here?
