I am having trouble getting my motherboard and ram to work correctly together. My ram is DDR3- 1333, but it is only running at DDR3- 800. The reason why I am posting this in here and not the Memory area is because my bios does not even give me the option to choose anything higher than DDR3-800. I updated the bios, but I am wondering if there are any other settings I need to mess with to let it see my ram correctly. Specs are in my sig. Thanks.

Have you checked your voltage to make sure it matches the 1333 spec? I don't even know if that old CPU would effect your clock speed. Just throwing ideas.:)

Clear your BIOS using the jumper switch and go back into the BIOS and see if it makes any difference.

Hey, thanks for the input. I figured out the problem was intel boards wont allow the RAM to FSB ratio to go over 2:1. Since the FSB on my processor is 800MHz, my DRAM frequency cannot exceed 401 MHz. This will all be fixed when I get my new processor though, thankfully. I do have one question though, when I ran sandra with this ram, I only got 3.4 GB/s memory bandwidth. Do you think this will get up to around the 12ish GB/s I was told I am suppose to be getting?
