I have had a Asus P5B-VM with a Core 2 duo w/ stock fan heatsink for a year now and am starting to have heating issues. I was looking at getting an after market fan heatsink but i want to make sure that what i order will fit on directly and not get in the way of other things on the board such as ram. Can someone give me a few good options for this.
Thank you

I have the P5B-E myself, and my case is fairly small (Antec Sonata II). I've had absolutely no problem fitting the Zalman 9700LED, which is absolutely massive. The only one I can't fit, is the Thermalright Ultra 120, and it has nothing to do with motherboard components, it simply has to do with the small size of my case (the PSU is in the way of the heatsink).

If you want a decent sized, cheap, and very effective cooling solution, go with the Arctic Freezer 7 Pro. I find it hard to recommend anything better, as the price goes up quite drastically, and the better coolers are only really needed if you're pushing for extreme overclocks.

I have heard that the Acrtic Freezer 7 Pro sucks so I want to steer away from that. Any other suggestions
