Hi all, im new here so go easy,

Basically i have an aria based system with a 3.0c nw, p4p800 vm, 1 gig of crucial, radeon 8500 aiw and an audigy.

I can clock my cpu to 3.4 on stock volts in the aria easily using clockgen and its prime stable, however i cant seem to get clockgen to load my settings automatically, if i set it to do so the system freezes, like as if the sata bus has been overclocked out of spec, tried speed fan and get the same problems?

It isnt a problem when using clockgen as a standalone programme, its just when i use the 'ghost mode' has anyone worked around this?

Sounds like a PLL issue,Id just e mail Honey X and see if he will mod u a bios so u can keep it at 3.4.

Open up notepad... Type something like this in.
(This is for my 2.8 @ 3.3)

[CG-ICS952607]
FSB=235.80
AGP=66

And then save as whatever.ini
Create a shortcut to clockgen and the target line should look like this..

C:\CPUID\CG-ICS952607.exe -file=whatever.ini

Then set the shortcut to run when windows starts

I have an Aria, P4 3.2E, and the Asus p4p800-vm on the way too. How well is it working for you? how abotu heat? what HSF are you using? I'm going to addd the Radion 9800pro with 256mb soon too. I don't want this thing any louder my my pretty quite Dell is right now, but I would like it to scream pretty well for a couple of years :D

Hi fellas, cheers for the replies

1) who is Honey X and can he do that :) it would be great if he could

2) @ smurph, ive done that but my system hangs as soon as the shortcout runs on start up, like i said its as if the sata hd is hanging? but it works fun if i boot open clock gen and then set it to 3.4 :confused:

thanks again

Yes Honey x can mod your bios,him and cheapoman work on bios projects and im running a custom bios in a k7s5a moded mobo,has a 2400M chip in it and oc's like nuts in a cheap mobo :) im going to get him to do my shuttle's bios also so im sure if u ask him really nice he might be able to do yours for u,might cost u a lil bit of $$ but who cares when it works right? ill pm u a link to where u can find him.
