A few weeks ago I saw an article on the INQ about some OC on the new P4M 2.0Ghz.

According to them it OC:ed easy to 2.4 and 2.6 Ghz and at that speed it was really fast. Faster than the FX-53 and all. So, I was wondering if you could build a system with an P4M with a desktop MB and OC it and have a really fast system with low heat output? Is there even desktop MB for P4M?

You mean the P-M 2GHz (Dothan), not P4-M. And yes, clock for clock the Dothan CPUs are very fast.

nice strong fpu but where's the 200mhz fsb i only see 100mhz i want to see this chip on the p4's fsb of 200mhz quad pumped dual ddr controller that would OWN.

dude forget our cpu's man. dothan is the way to go. now when can we get a hold of a desktop version of that baby!!!

Wow that is the worst pun I have ever heard...

And all you folks DO know that since Banias and Dothan rock so much that future desktop and notebook chips will be based on them, right? The rocking performance made Intel change lots of roadmaps extensively cuz these chips are ridiculously good. Finally all the money we pump into Israel is going to a positive cause.
