My new ish i got from newegg, PC4800 and a 2.6c didn't boot, and i have checked other system components like ram and v-card. When I try to boot it says "Cpu Not Detected" even tho the cpu is in the socket and I have made sure its seated correctly. DO i need to update bios for it to detect ? Depressing when you get new stuff and they dont work

You have your PSU 12v ATX wire connected to the mobo yet? If you don't have the juice or the proper amount of it, CPU is not going to get the mojo it needs to be detected.

yes, i have both connections to the mobo, i have my psu on 115, should i switch it to the 215 or w/e?
