hey, i wanna go water, but i have zero watercooling experience, and havent done alot looking into it,

what would be a good kit , or components for a beginner, but still have good perormance, any help would be greatly appreciated.

For an external watercooling kit i would look into a Koolance EXOS or a Corsair Hydrocool 200. For an internal kit i would go with something from Danger Den, Asetek, Swiftech, or D-tek customs.

You need to do some research and reading on watercooling first though because i dont recommend watercooling to anyone that doesn't already know what their doing.

And unless your wanting a silent rig i wouldn't bother with watercooling and just get a good heatsink/fan because alot of times it will be more trouble then its worth.

The internal kits wont fit in the majority of cases without removing the lower hard drive cage and doing modifications.

I agree with burningrave, do some research. I spent about two months reading reviews and guides to water cooling before I jumped in. My recommendation would be the Koolance Exos external unit. Modding a case to fit an internal system can be frustrating. My pump bit the bullet about 2 months ago after a year of 24/7 operation. Went back to air cooling because i had the components and no cash for the parts to repair the pump. ;)

yeah... i did a lot of upgrading back in july with water...

just keep researching.. :)

that's what i did and i had no problems at all!

no leaks or anything!

btw, i just sold a Koolance Exos a week or so ago and they guy is probably going to upgrade to custom setup. he loves that Koolance and said he got it up and running the same day he got it and he was new to the game also. i sold it to him pretty cheap ($150 w/extra hosing) and i bet he'll let it go just as cheap. lmk!
