Ok, my knowledge of processors is next to nothing
I have a Prescott P4 3.0Ghz with socket 487
I ran 3dmark and video card results were fine but when it reached CPU testing the results were terrible. I think it stayed at 0-2 fps the entire time.

This is the mobo that i have
Intel D865PERL

Is there a better processor i could buy for this mobo?

OP: i get 2fps on that benchmark you speak of with my core2duo processor at 3.2ghz. don't worry about it, it's normal for the cpu test.
