I am trying to overclock my P4 28c and whatever speeds I select, even lowish speeds, it does go past post tests.

The lowest settings I've tried where:

225fsb
7.2.1 ratio for CPU/AGP/PCI
Memory at 5:4 ratio
Voltages at default.

System specs are:
P4 2.8C
Corsair 3200LL (with heat spreaders)
ABIT IC7 MB
SATA Seagate HDD Boot Drive
WD IDE drive
CDROM + CDRW

Heat is not a problem as I have an Akasa King Copper cooler and 6x 80mm case fans.

Depending at what settigns I use, either the SATA drive is lost during Device detection or all devices are found but the PC hangs at that point, though a soft reset works fine.
I've tried increasing voltages for CPU, AGP and DRAM and changing the ratios etc but still no luck.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. That worked.

Now overclocked to 3.2 from 2.8
Very stable (so far)

Thanks again.
