any one used a p4 engineering sample before got one says 1.2 ghz can run 2.6 ghz easy :eek:
 
That would be pretty sweet. Please post ram/mobo+bus speeds and memory timings along w/a pic of the chip if you can. To be honest this sounds a little to fantastic, but hey, weirder stuff has happened. What tool are you using to verify the clock speed?
 
soyo mobo 845pe lite board pc2100 ram generic memory 768 megs,seagate 80 gig 8meg cache hardrive,dvdrw sanyo burner, liteon cdrom ,8 scsi sagate cheeata hardrives,running win xp professional, no markings on processor intel id software says developed chip but other than that it can't tell anything else.my speed of the processor only seems to be held by the memory speed can't take memory past 310 mhz starts to be unstable am going to buy pc 3200 ocz and try more speed tests processor temp never exceded 46c when loaded with xp and playing the hulk but became unstable when I took to 2.63 ghz with memory at 333 mhz. any ideas or suggestions would be appreiciated.
ps I am a newbee to overclocking

sorry forgot to tell you tested with sandra and intel frequency tester and our windows system info software :eek:
