Hey, I have a system that I built several years ago that needs a new home.
I have a P4 2.4 with 1GB Geil PC3200 ram. 864
It comes on an Abit IS7-E, with the INTEL 865 chipset.
The processor and ram are in fine/perfect condition.
The motherboard's chipset fan is dead. Some of the clips to hold the HSF popped out. Currently, the HS is held on by (removable) glue, a less than ideal situation. I have barely used it in this situation, because of the potential for heat damage.
I am selling this because I have no desire to fix it. I can throw in an Antec 350 W PSU (worked for years) which has a sometimes noisy fan (again, easy fix, but I have no desire to do so).
I am looking to sell the CPU+RAM+Mobo for $70 shipped.
I can add the PSU for $90 shipped.
The PSU is a 350W Antec PSU. It works, but the fan sometimes rattles.
I will also accept trades. I am looking to build a dual/quadcore server. I am looking for:
Core2Duo or QuadCore Intel CPU's
ATX Motherboards with the INTEL p35 chipset (preferable Intel, Abit, Asus) with 1 PCI-E 16x slot.
PC6400 Ram. (DDR2)
SATA Hard Drives
SATA to IDE Adapters
SATA cables
A PSU with two of the 4-pin square connectors.
PCI-E 16X grapics cards (Not ATI).
I would only reccomend the combo to somebody wh has a spare HSF for the chipset AND some thermal epoxy.
