P4 630 Temps

What's everyone running their P4 630 at and with what HSF combo?

1. OEM HSF - 56/57C under load w/Prime95
[1 rear and 1 front case fan]

2. XP-90C - Mid to low 40c under load w/Prime95 [39/40c idle - mobo 39c idle]
[No case fans, and 42cfm antec fan on hs]
(At 3.6ghz it runs 57C under load and mobo runs 40/41C too)
Awaiting some case fans, and a nicer fan for the heatsink so I can push towards 4ghz :)

What's considered "ALERT" turn me off temps for this CPU? And what do you guys run daily?

In a shuttle SB95P 52c idle
In a ATX Case with Zalman 7000 about 47c idle
In a fragbox mATX case about 45c idle

The alert level for a P4 is about 70C (thermal spec is 73C). If you're staying under 60C with a prescott at load, then you are in good shape.

Ok, I wanted to know what safe temps I should look out for when overclocking sounds like I should hit 4ghz :)
 
I have ran 4 or 5 diffrent chips drove all over the state picking them up, i have found with my studies if the packing date is after 2-25-05 you wil hit the 4ghz mark, some chips you will jsut be able to up the frontsidebus and the vcore and some you will have to up the ram volts etc etc.......But like i said 9 out of 10 i ran hit teh 4GHZ mark and they would do it on the stock heatsink......just pick a starting point cause i had one chip i only had to up the frontsidebus and give it to 1.46 volts and it ran like a top two instances of prime 95 no problem. If you run into some funny window problems i have found it is usually adjusting the northbridge voltage etc etc, and finding teh sweet spot i ran all of my setups on the ASUS P5WD2 preminum and the fatality. The asus was sweet cause you could drop the multipler and run 300FSB with the right ram...good luck
 
wow the 6xx series is way colder than my d0 step 550 didnt realize it was that much cooler
