I have a 3.6ghz P4 (660) [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819116195], here is the link from Newegg.

Well is this processor really 64 bit compatible like the AMD FX chips? Will I be able to run Windows XP-64 on this?

How about games? The new tech demo Dreadnought <sp> available on the AMD website wont run in 64-bit mode on my machine. Is it because I dont have an AMD processor or because my chip is not really 64-bit compatible?

Thanks!

It should be 64 bit.

The 64 bit mode of Dreadnought might require you to run Windows XP-64 in order to run.

And I would think WIndows XP-64 should install and run on your CPU.
