Hi all,

I'm overclocking a 2.8C in an Asus P4P800 Deluxe mobo. I have 4x sticks of Kingston HyperX 512MB PC3500 ram and also an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb video card.

I have the FSB set to 230.

I have the following set to:

CPU VCore Voltage = 1.5625V
DDR Reference Voltage = 2.75V
AGP VDDQ = 1.70V

but I'm not sure if they are too high/low or ??

When I had them at AUTO the system would never boot up and would BSOD all the time. Raising the voltages appears to have fixed this.

Anyone have any comments ?

If it's stable, then that's fine. Run prime95 or something, and if it's stable, then leave voltages alone. You should have the lowest stable voltage for your chip. No two chips are the same. Also, is it just me, or did you raise your AGP voltage? You should probably leave that at stock, it doesn't help with overclocks like CPU voltage.

yeah Ditto on the AGp voltage. Leave it at default.rasing it is the quickest way to kill your card. Yuor voltages should only be set as high as it takes to get a stable overclock that you feel comfortable with. The higher the voltage the greater chance of sudden CPU DEATH. as long as you stay below 1.7 you should be OK

Thanks for your replies.

I've never overclocked with voltages before. I've changed the AGP voltage back to 1.5v.

I'm running the FSB at 215 right now. Prime95 has been running for a few hours without any problems. I changed the voltages all back to AUTO for now and it seems to be working ok.

Make sure you are running two instances of prime for a P4 HT processor.

You can do with by making two shortcuts to the executable and appending

-a0
-a1

to the end of each shortcut.
