Currently I’m running a P4 2.6c at 2.9ghz on a Abit AI7 with 1GB of PC-2700 at 223mhz with a 3:2 multiplier and PSB:800. I’m wondering if switching over too some better RAM to try and get a better overclock and some more bandwidth would be worth the investment. This is the RAM that I’m looking at getting:

Would it be worth it to purchase this? Or would the performance increase not be worth the cost? I’m really trying to hold off on a new system until Windows Vista hits so just looking for a good temporary speed boost to my system. Or is there some other RAM I should be looking at getting for this system?

Well I would, but I can't find just 1gb of PC-4000 from the websites I shop at. Would some high quality PC-3200 allow to get my FSB up to 245 at 1:1?

Yes. I have corsair XMS that let me run @ 235 1:1 and i am not maxed out. By the way i am selling it too!
